Peter grew up around builders and contractors and he always enjoyed being outside working with his hands. He also enjoyed drawing and spent hours dreaming up and sketching interesting landscapes and swimming pool designs at a young age. Peter began working with plants at a local greenhouse at age 9 an hour a day after school, and for a small local landscape company at the age of 18. Here he was given creative freedom to design and build the things he used to like to draw. The spark was ignited and from here he pursued a degree in Horticulture / Landscape Design / Environmental Technologies. He started the business in 1999 when he finished college and has been following his passion ever since.
“At some point you realize what it is you’re really building for people… Spaces for precious moments and memories with their loved ones.”

Andrew quickly realized his love of landscaping and operating equipment at a young age and spent every minute of his day outside in his parents’ yard helping maintain their landscape. He started working at a local golf course maintaining the course grounds. Throughout high school and college, Andrew ran his own maintenance and small hardscape business, learning the entrepreneurship and management world. He soon found that love of creating outdoor living spaces, patios, and walkways and decided it was time for a change.
Today, Andrew is very proud to be part of the Stone Ridge team. You will find him operating equipment, building, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. He is always assuring, taking pride in and noting the small details in his work for our clients.
